As a Risk Analyst, you will conduct Enhanced Customer Due Diligence reviews, analyse customer and risk information, investigate alerts, and determine whether further action or escalation is required. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate outcomes while contributing to a strong risk and compliance culture.

In supporting the organisation’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) obligations, you will manage allocated casework and deliver high-quality investigations. This includes applying sound judgement to identify, assess and document potential red flags, and escalating matters by raising Unusual Matter Reports where appropriate.

  • Knowledge of banking products, customer types and financial services operations, with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently (essential)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess information, identify patterns and make risk-based decisions
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, complete and well-documented outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet service level agreements without compromising quality
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced operational environment, with a focus on quality, accuracy and continuous improvement. 
  • Previous exposure to AML/Counter-Terrorism Financing, financial crime, compliance, sanctions, customer due diligence or related banking processes is desirable.
