- Previous clinical hygiene experience
- Experience in a fee-for-service or comprehensive dental environment
- Strong patient education and communication skills

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs an important member of the clinical team, you'll partner closely with the doctor to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities include:
- →Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures
- →Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
- →Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)
- →Periodontal maintenance
- →Conduct comprehensive periodontal and oral-health assessments
- →Take diagnostic radiographs
- →Review and update patient medical histories
- →Educate patients regarding preventive care and home-care techniques
- →Identify and communicate potential restorative and periodontal needs
- →Collaborate closely with the doctor on comprehensive treatment planning
- →Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
- →Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and sterilization protocols
- →Create a comfortable, professional, and personalized experience for every patient

Requirements

- Active South Carolina Dental Hygiene License, or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain
