- CNC Programming, Setup & Operation: Program, setup, and operate 5 Axis CNC milling centers utilizing machine controls to manufacture small to mid-sized components. Design and arrange workholding setups and cutting fixtures to guarantee maximum precision and superior quality.
- Technical Planning & Execution: Plan the daily workflow by studying work orders, drawing specifications, and machining parameters. Actively participate in daily tier meetings to drive on-time delivery and ensure production milestones are consistently achieved.
- Quality Standards & Compliance: Maintain high quality standards, keep accurate records, adhere to procedures in accordance with ISO and AS9100 Quality Systems, and work with the quality department to support the overall Quality System.
- Process Optimization: Continuously work to shorten cycle times, reduce costs, and improve on-time delivery for existing products.
- Equipment & Preventative Maintenance: Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and reporting irregularities for repairs.
- Safety & Environmental Standards: Maintain safe operations and a clean workspace by adhering strictly to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other departments to solve problems and streamline production flow.
Requirements

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least five years of demonstrated background operating Okuma or Haas CNC systems within high-precision production settings.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to independently evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing operational challenges as they occur.
- Code & Offset Management: Demonstrate the ability to read and write basic G & M codes, adjust tool and work offsets, and manage spindle speeds and feed rates for materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium.
- Quality & Inspection: Comprehensive mastery of quality verification protocols and proficiency utilizing precision measuring tools, including height gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Print Reading & GD&T: Demonstrated excellent print reading skills and solid understanding of GD&T.
- Material Expertise: Ability to produce precision parts in Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium.
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing during shift hours.
- Certifications: Certifications: Vocational/machining credentials, formal GD&T training, or Lean manufacturing expertise highly valued.
- Systems & Tools Proficiency: Experience in Google Enterprise, BambooHR, and Paycom/ADP is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, clear communication, and commitment to continuous process improvement.
