Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, develop, and maintain scalable middleware solutions and backend services using Java and related technologies.
- →Build, implement, and support APIs and integration services that enable seamless communication between internal and external systems.
- →Develop and optimize microservices-based architectures and distributed applications.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- →Design and implement integration patterns such as message queues, publish-subscribe models, and service orchestration.
- →Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex application, integration, and middleware issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
- →Develop and maintain database integrations across relational and NoSQL platforms.
- →Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions to ensure best engineering practices.
- →Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities across cloud and on-premise environments.
- →Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and system stability.
- →Monitor application health, performance, and logs, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- →Document technical solutions, integrations, and operational procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- 4+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
- Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with Node.js and backend integration development.
- Solid understanding of middleware architecture and enterprise integration concepts.
- Experience working with application servers and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, including message queues, publish-subscribe, and service orchestration.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production issues through log analysis and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, code reviews, and secure coding principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize software development, debugging, documentation, code generation, testing, or engineering workflows.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Nagios.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience working with SOAP services and legacy system integrations.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, IBM Integration Bus, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot or related frameworks.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, or other large-scale enterprise environments.
