Position Overview:
Woolpert is hiring a Geospatial Technician to join our Aviation at our Kansas City office. This position is primarily responsible for creating geospatial data and layouts to support Aviation project

Only candidates local to Kansas City Missouri will be considered.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.  Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do:

• Utilize ArcGIS Pro to manipulate data and create detailed layouts
• Prepare and organize geospatial data for analysis and presentation
• Maintain consistent data management practices to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Generate reports and visualizations from geospatial data
• Interpret and edit digital maps for accuracy and updates
• Supports geospatial analysis under the guidance of senior staff to aid project performance and workflow efficiency.
• Assists more experienced technicians with various duties, maintenance, and other tasks.

What You Will Bring:

• BA/BS degree in Geospatial Technologies or commensurate years of professional geospatial-related experience preferred.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro required.
• Familiarity with cartographic design within GIS.
• Experience with raster data and spatial databases required.
• Aviation knowledge or experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Aviation Extension preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties of the position.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Proficient in performing intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
