Senior Data Scientist

We are expanding our data science capability to develop a state-of-the-art system for estimating and understanding the size and characteristics of marketing and advertising audiences.

This role offers the opportunity to apply Bayesian statistics, advanced mathematical thinking and production-quality engineering to complex problems with meaningful industry impact.

• →Develop and implement Bayesian statistical models and other advanced analytical methods to estimate audience sizes and characteristics.
• →Translate complex mathematical and statistical questions into robust, explainable data-driven solutions.
• →Build and maintain production-ready Python packages, including unit tests and clear technical documentation.
• →Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and other specialists to design, build and refine analytical solutions.
• →Work with diverse data formats and help maintain data quality and integrity throughout the analytics pipeline.
• →Use cloud computing resources to support scalable data processing and model deployment.
• →Contribute to Git repositories, code reviews and sound version-control practices while adapting to evolving priorities.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues who bring different technical perspectives and areas of expertise, contributing to an environment where ideas are tested constructively and improved together.

• Advanced knowledge of probability and statistics, including a strong foundation in Bayesian methods, gained through postgraduate study or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced Python programming skills, including package development, unit testing and working with multiple data formats.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex mathematical, statistical or conceptual problems.
• Experience using Git, repositories and collaborative code-review practices.
• Experience with a cloud computing platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines.
• A thoughtful, structured approach to exploring unfamiliar problems and evaluating potential solutions.
