Wynd Labs is an early-stage startup that is on a mission to democratize the future of AI. Through our first product, Grass, we provide universal access to public web data, and a system where ordinary people can participate in the process - and share in the benefits.

Grass is a network sharing application that allows users to share their unused bandwidth. Effectively, this is a residential proxy network that directly rewards individual residential IPs for the bandwidth they provide. Grass will route traffic equitably among its network and meter the amount of data that each node provides to fairly distribute rewards.

In non-technical terms: Grass unlocks everyone's ability to earn rewards by simply sharing their unused internet bandwidth on personal devices (laptops, smartphones).

We are seeking an experienced Technical Chief of Staff with a strong technical background to oversee operations and coordinate projects within our engineering organization. This role requires a highly organized individual with a deep engineering knowledge. You will join a small, dynamic team and lead efforts as the key liaison between the CTO and engineers. This is a unique title for a role, we didn’t know what to call it. Truth is, if you are the right candidate we can decide to call this role whatever you want. We are looking for someone who is technical, entrepreneurial, and wants to play a high visibility, key cross-functional role.

• →Act as a bridge between management and engineers, ensuring clear communication.
• →Provide technical guidance and support to project teams when needed.
• →Troubleshooting engineering process issues, and optimizing the onboarding process for new team members.
• →Owning and maintaining our developer documentation, ensuring clarity, comprehensiveness, and overall excellence.
• →Being a thought partner for our product roadmap by collaborating with the CEO, CTO, and customers, bringing insights and highlighting developer needs.
• →Contributing to newsletters, blog posts, and release notes to keep our audience informed about new features and product updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Background as an engineer, or in a cross-functional technical role such as a technical product manager at an early-stage company.
• Experience in a customer-facing or stakeholder-facing role.
• Experience writing code, either professionally or as a hobby/side project.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, security, and automation.
• Experience with Go, NextJS, ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), Chakra UI, RESTful APIs, Git.
• Experience with developing applications in Typescript/Javascript, Python, and/or Go.
• Bonus points for managing external-facing developer docs.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong product sense and ability to think critically about prioritization.
• Ability to manage and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Self-motivated and autonomous, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
