• →Transform visiting the eye doctor into an enjoyable and delightful experience for a BILLION people
• →Tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences while ensuring user data is being handled securely and with care
• →Design, implement, and test brand new product features having top-line business impact and performance (delightful customer facing features and internal tools improving productivity)
• →Build tools to deploy, monitor, and manage our applications
• →Conduct code reviews and provide regular feedback to your team
• →Keep up to date with the latest web technologies and infrastructure designs

• BS/MS in CS, related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of object oriented programming experience in a professional environment
• Experience building secure, production-level, backend infrastructure
• Experience working with AWS services (e.g. S3, ElasticBeanstalk, EC2)
• Experience in web technologies such as ES6, React, Node, Redux, jQuery, Webpack, Babel, SCSS
• Passion for creating great user experiences
• Ability to work in a cross functional environment (non-engineers such as designers, doctors, and end customers)
• Self-starter, adaptable, coachable, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment
• Our team is Hybrid in our San Carlos Office

• Former founder or early engineer at a startup
• Mobile development experience
• Experience working with Augmented Reality
