Compliance Officer - Kuwait

XS is a licensed fast-growing Multi-Asset CFD Broker, looking to hire a dynamic Compliance Officer to join our team of experts in our office in Kuwait!

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a robust Compliance Program in line with CMA Kuwait regulations and best industry practices.
• Act as a key advisor to management by guiding the company on regulatory, compliance, and conduct-related matters.
• Monitor and assess the effective implementation of the Compliance Program across all business activities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory, AML/CFT, and conduct risks.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with local regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a decision-maker on compliance-related matters, including escalations and regulatory interpretations.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees to promote regulatory awareness and a strong compliance culture.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to business teams to ensure compliance is embedded in daily operations.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance role.
• Previous compliance experience in the CFD/FX industry.
• Strong knowledge of the FX / Brokerage industry, including client onboarding, AML/CFT and business arrangements related matters.
• In-depth knowledge of Kuwait CMA local rules and regulations and applicable AML/CFT requirements.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making.
