Associate Graphic Designer

The YMCA of Dane County is hiring an entry level Graphic Design Associate. Responsibilities include designing and producing graphic design materials; maintaining brand standards and images; assisting with vendor coordination; and assisting with other design needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Understanding of graphic principles, layout, and design
• Requires working knowledge and experience with Google platform, Mac platforms, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with web content management systems preferred.
• Requires strong proofreading and editing skills with an attention to detail.
• Experience with design projects such as ads, brochures, and digital campaigns
• Knowledge of the print process and working with vendors
• Understanding of branding, corporate marketing/communications, and target audiences
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

• Associates Degree in graphic design, art, advertising, or related degree (Preferred)
• No degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
