Plumbing Master/Journeyman Service Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency service

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Master or Journeyman Plumbing Service Technician. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and repair skills and can independently provide high-quality plumbing solutions while delivering outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
Service water heaters, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, filtration systems, and other plumbing fixtures.
Troubleshoot leaks, clogged drains, sewer-line issues, and water-supply problems.
Perform drain cleaning, sewer-camera inspections, water-line repairs, and repiping.
Prepare accurate estimates and clearly explain repair and replacement options to customers.
Document jobs using ServiceTitan or similar field-service software.
Follow Virginia plumbing codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, office staff, and management.
Participate in scheduled on-call and emergency-service rotations.

Qualifications

Virginia Master or Journeyman Plumber license preferred.
5–8+ years of residential or commercial plumbing experience.
Ability to diagnose and complete plumbing repairs independently.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety practices.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Excellent communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Additional experience preferred: ServiceTitan, tankless water heaters, sewer-camera inspections, hydro-jetting, HVAC systems, and ethical service-based sales.
