Primary Work Areas
- Test Department: Turret systems, Post Test equipment, Strip & Test machinery with Pick and Place (P&P) systems, and process equipment
- Assembly Operations: Die Prep equipment, Die Attach, Wirebond machinery, QFN Assembly equipment, and Process Engineering tools
In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
- Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
Requirements
~1 min readAs a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.
- Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
- Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed
- Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong collaborative skills in team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Diploma in any technical related field
- Minimum 5 years and above of working experience in relevant filed
This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material. As a product technician in one of our clean rooms, you will provide technical support for a specific product or group of products, from product definition and planning through production and release. Once the product is on the line, you will monitor and audit line operators, and offer guidance.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage, troubleshoot and improve multi-probe test programs used in the production environment
- Evaluate test program issues; recommend and implement improvements
- Technical evaluation and disposition of manufacturing lots on the probe floor and in the lab
- Track yield and root cause determination of yield degradation
- Debug to component level in order to analyze and recommend test program adjustments to improve test yield
- Review wafer maps from probed wafers to identify yield issues, report on the issues seen, and ink wafer maps as necessary
- Organize yield data into categories and communicate to the engineering team on issues that need their attention
