THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Site Superintendent (Residential Multifamily) to join our multifamily construction team. This role is located on site and reports to the Principal.  The Site Superintendent (Residential Multifamily) will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:

Managing and supervising all construction site activities on a single multifamily construction project. General responsibilities include providing supervision of construction staff and sub-trade staff, providing safety leadership, contributing to the advancement of the construction schedule, and identifying deficiencies or issues. The current project involves a stacked townhouse of a concrete parkade located in Vancouver.

Maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient multifamily job site, while ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Contributing to a culture of professional project delivery by establishing behavioural guidelines, best practices, and a system of accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Education

Demonstrated progressive experience in general contracting as a superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction.

Trade background in carpentry and/or Gold Seal Certification is considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High energy with a positive attitude

Well-developed and adaptable communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrates solid judgement regarding sensitive information

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Familiarity with MS Project and SiteMax is an asset

COMPENSATION RANGE

$100,000 - $145,000 per year
