The Engineering Graduate Program starts July 2027. Based out of our Dublin, Vancouver and US offices, launch your career in game development over a 21 month period.
- Foundation Training (3 Months): Master game development fundamentals using industry-standard engines, engage in instructor-led projects, receive guided feedback & reviews, and develop essential soft skills for working in a studio environment.
- Studio Rotations (18 Months): Complete 3 rotations across 2K studios (such as Hangar 13, Visual Concepts, Firaxis, HB Studios, Gearbox, and more), contributing directly to AAA titles.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to build and support game features across our titles.
- →Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, primarily in C++ & in the Unreal Engine.
- →Participate in instructor-led group projects, technical workshops, and guided reviews.
- →Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems across diverse engineering platforms and game engines.
- →Adapt quickly to varied studio workflows, version control tools (e.g., Perforce), and game release timelines.
- Graduated between January 2025 and July 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience with the use of Unreal Engine, which will be evaluated during the assessment process.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, curious learner with a genuine passion for gaming and technology.

The pay for this position in Vancouver at the start of employment is expected to be $85,000 CAD per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
