Are you passionate about data, analytics, and turning insights into business decisions? As an EMEA Demand Planner (Demand plan Optimization and Execution), you will support regional demand planning across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by translating market signals, trends, and data into accurate forecasts.
In this role, you will work with large datasets, forecasting tools, and cross-functional teams across business, supply chain, and manufacturing. You will help improve forecast accuracy, identify trends, solve planning challenges, and support better decision-making in a dynamic international environment.
- Acting as the primary interface between business-facing demand planning and supply chain/manufacturing teams.
- Optimizing statistical baseline forecasts using advanced modelling techniques within the demand planning tool.
- Coordinating demand planning exceptions, including out-of-control demand, forecast bias, and unusual month-to-date consumption.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of demand plans in planning tools.
- Maintaining system data integrity and forecasting parameters.
- Driving the adoption of automated and AI-driven forecasting methods, reducing the need for manual business input wherever possible.
- Providing standard templates for business discussions, including the key areas of business intelligence required to maintain strong forecast performance.
- Using forecast performance metrics to monitor accuracy and implement corrective actions.
- Providing key demand inputs to Supply and Production Planning teams to help develop strategies that balance cost and cash while maximizing service levels.
- Experience or interest in demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, business intelligence, or data analytics
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work with data, identify trends, and generate insights
- A proactive, curious, and continuous-learning mindset
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- A bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) in Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
Additional knowledge that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Knowledge of planning, ERP, or analytics tools (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP/APO, Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with forecasting methods, statistics, or inventory management concepts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Professional experience involving data analysis and problem-solving
- Experience working in cross-functional or international environments
