Material Handler (Sparks, NV)

The Material Handler works in a high volume, fast-pace environment.   Responsibilities include removing stock from storage locations and delivering it to assigned packing locations; routing materials to storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed Company methods; verifying stock against pick tickets, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious product damage to management, packaging materials for shipping UPS; and preparing LTL orders for shipment.  Good communication skills required, with ability to share knowledge and coordinate/monitor workflow and daily tasks with coworkers. The hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Self-starters with strong attention to detail with a desire to learn and grow in organizational operations, take on special projects, and promote cooperative work environment, who have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years related warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience are encouraged to apply.  The ability to lift up to 70 pounds, operate and be certified on all appropriate material handling equipment, along with basic computer experience are required.
