  • Lead regional implementation and clinical operations of school-based mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral health services across campuses.
  • Translate district strategy into measurable regional outcomes, ensuring alignment with student achievement, engagement, and safety goals.
  • Provide clinical supervision, evaluation, and coaching to school-based clinicians and Substance Abuse and Crisis Clinician teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Establish and monitor clinical performance metrics, productivity standards, and service delivery expectations for all assigned staff.
  • Oversee the full clinical service delivery continuum, including referral, intake, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and follow-up care.
  • Ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, EMR utilization, and service quality to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Direct implementation of substance abuse programming, including prevention, early intervention, and recovery supports.
  • Analyze program data and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead crisis response efforts, including risk and threat assessments, safety 

    planning, stabilization, and post-crisis recovery.

     

  • Design and implement professional development and training to build staff clinical capacity and ensure licensure and CEU compliance.
  • Collaborate with district departments (e.g., Counseling, SEL, Special Education, MTSS) and campus leadership to coordinate student supports.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to expand service access.
  • Oversee care coordination, external referrals, and transition planning to ensure continuity of care for students and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, Medicaid, licensing) while managing reporting, resources, and operational 

    effectiveness.

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
  • Ph.D. from an accredited university preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mental health services, including
    leadership or supervisory experience required. 
  • Experience working in a school-based or youth-serving environment.
  • Two or more years of direct experience with adolescent substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Knowledge of adolescent development, mental health trends, and substance use prevention.
  • Strong clinical leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and student centered services.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to mental health services (HIPAA,FERPA, Medicaid).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
