Create project management plans and ensure fidelity of projects and tasks to ensure the Career Readiness, CTE, and Career Institute Departments are focused on the CTE and Career Readiness vision and that goals are met
Present progress reports, spreadsheets, presentations, data, board documents, executive summaries, and other documents requested by the Deputy Chief of Career Readiness, focused on Career Institutes, CTE, and Career Readiness
Lead, evaluate, and attend Career Readiness-related programs, clubs, activities, and/or district-wide events
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and perform risk management to minimize project risks
Define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility while ensuring resource availability and allocation
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Serve as the strategic liaison across the Career Readiness, CTE, and Career Institutes departments by driving interdepartmental alignment, cultivating robust industry partnerships, and building active community engagement to expand student career opportunities
Design, create, and present engaging social media content—serving as a professional, on-camera presence for reels, video highlights, and student spotlights across official channels to boost department visibility and event attendance
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital platforms, using analytics to measure reach, track engagement trends, and optimize communication strategies
Perform all other tasks and duties assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teacher certification preferred; valid principal certification preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Five years of experience in a directly related field
Excellent written, verbal, external, and internal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Demonstrated proficient ability to use Google Apps such as Google Sheets and Google Documents, MS Office, Adobe Suite, and Learning Management Systems as well as social media and community platforms
Demonstrated ability to function effectively with all levels of management throughout the district
Demonstrated ability to create and edit written communication in all forms, resulting in products that are technically precise, accurate, and readable
