The Clinical Field Internship Program provides hands-on experience supporting Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) U.S. Commercial team.

Interns will gain exposure to CRM therapies such as leadless pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable cardiac monitors through customer-facing activities, procedural observation, structured training, and mentorship.

The program is designed to prepare high-potential students for future opportunities within the Abbott CRM U.S. Commercial organization.

Clinical & Technical Support

→Participate in supervised clinical field activities, including CRM device implant observation and follow-up procedures
→Gain exposure to device programming, troubleshooting, and CRM technologies

Customer Engagement

→Observe and participate in interactions with physicians, technicians, and hospital staff
→Build foundational skills in professional communication and relationship management within clinical environments

Learning & Development

→Complete structured training in CRM therapies, products, and clinical applications
→Participate in cohort-based experience to foster peer learning, collaboration, and shared development
→Work closely with clinical mentors and field teams to build technical and professional capabilities
