Responsibilities

→Lead the daily operations of the preschool to ensure a safe, high quality, compliant learning environment
→Support and coach teachers to deliver developmentally appropriate, inclusive programming that supports children's social-emotional growth and school readiness
→Build strong relationships with families through clear communication, engagement opportunities and ongoing partnership
→Oversee enrollment, staffing, scheduling and administrative systems to ensure smooth program operations.
→Monitor program quality, licensing compliance and continuous improvement efforts
→Collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to strengthen curriculum, staffing and overall program success
→Foster a positive workplace culture rooted in teamwork, reflective practice and continuous learning

Below is a list of education and work experience qualifications. We encourage you to apply even if you may not meet all the listed qualifications and you are interested in becoming a Preschool Teacher.

Bachelor’s required and Master’s preferred in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education
Required 24 ECE units with 3 units of Supervision, or Bachelor’s in Child Development with a Supervisor Permit through CTCC
Experience teaching, and managing or directing a preschool (or equivalent experience)

Requirements

Valid California Driver’s License/ID
Proof of negative TB test results
Verification of occupational physical clearance
Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
18 years of age or job permit clearance

Preschool Teacher responsibilities include the physical support of children:

Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
Sit, stand, and bend frequently to engage children
