Job Summary

Support the installation, configuration and ongoing supporting of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and internet system or a segment of a network system. Participate in the planning and implementation of projects where networks are impacted or required. Install, maintain and resolve issues pertaining to networks.

Leverage the required expert level (own) skill & knowledge in voice technology products and services, architecture & Infrastructure to design and manage all development & development practices & outputs
Ensure the most optimal design & deployment of voice technology infrastructure, products, and services in the organization (via pipeline – not manually)
Ensure proactive voice technology testing and proactive maintenance planning
Manage the design & deployment of tools and processes for voice technology capability building for end users
Effectively manage the Voice delivery (including new builds, configuration & optimisation) pipeline & associated releases for maximum customer impact & minimum business risk
Manage the maintenance & optimization of voice technology infrastructure, products & services as a ‘way of doing things / culture’ across voice teams. You are fully accountable for the longevity and relevance of technologies.

With fluency in the deployment of agile methodologies, resource & manage the appropriate number and nature (skill & capability) of squad-based teams to execute on both Run & Change elements of voice technology delivery;
Work in collaboration with transformation & change teams for effective resourcing and delivery management of various programmes at all levels (SI, BU etc.)
Ensure agile practices are implemented and sustained for effective delivery to business e.g. RETRO’s etc;
Proactively engage with & partner RBB, CTO, CSO, Risk and broader enablement functions to drive alignment & leading practice in voice technology design & deployment;

Carry the ‘one stop shop’ accountability for all risk associated with voice technical decision making (from ideation to deployment);
Manage & apply the organization risk & governance frameworks;
Ensure decisions on infrastructure & product design are aligned to Group guidelines, standards and practices & are sustainable for the enterprise;
Proactively involve / engage technology leaders in product design & infrastructure decision making, applying an enterprise-wide lens to product & service development;
Manage all vendor selection processes & take full accountabilities for all related commercial impact;
Negotiate best fit contracts for the organization at an enterprise level and align decision making to our key business principles of scalability, resilience, captivity etc;
Define, lead and manage the implementation of all voice technology asset management practices and processes;
Deliver on time & on budget (always);
