Absolute Dental is seeking an Assistant Office Manager in Training to join our Pediatric team. This role is ideal for dental professionals looking to grow into management, as well as individuals with previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience who are ready to build a long-term career in healthcare.

Working alongside an experienced Office Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience in office operations, patient experience, scheduling, team support, and practice performance. This position is designed to develop future Office Managers through real-world training, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities.

Travel between pediatric practice locations may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily office operations and workflow
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed
  • Help ensure the office is prepared for the day, including reviewing schedules, provider needs, and patient flow
  • Support front office responsibilities including check-in, check-out, scheduling, phone calls, and patient communication
  • Help maintain a positive patient and parent experience
  • Assist with schedule management to maximize provider productivity
  • Follow up on recalls, unscheduled treatment, pending appointments, and missed appointments
  • Support treatment presentation and financial discussions when needed
  • Review patient balances, estimates, and insurance information
  • Assist with collection efforts and patient account follow-up
  • Help monitor office performance metrics, reports, and goals
  • Support team communication, training, and accountability
  • Assist with office coverage as needed to support business operations
  • Dental office experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, management, or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with scheduling, patient accounts, insurance verification, or treatment coordination is a plus
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to travel between pediatric office locations as needed
