Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple system elements to maintain business continuity and support operational efficiency through timely and effective problem resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system performance.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong knowledge of production planning processes and discrete manufacturing workflows.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within SAP production planning modules.
- Ability to analyze system logs and data to identify root causes of application problems.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and other enterprise resource planning modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining system stability and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
