Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and technical requirements is also a key part of the daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in cloud platform tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud environment management.
- Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring techniques for cloud applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
