Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. The position demands continuous alignment of project outcomes with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and driving the delivery of scalable and high-performing software solutions. The lead actively monitors progress, addresses challenges, and facilitates communication across various stakeholders to maintain project momentum and quality.

Role: PMO Delivery Manager responsible for program governance, delivery tracking, and L1 risk reporting for modern technology initiatives across investment banking.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

- Strong leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams through complex project phases.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in setting and enforcing development standards to ensure code quality and performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
