Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands active involvement in setting standards that promote maintainability, scalability, and optimal performance of software solutions. Role: Core Java Software Engineer with equity derivatives domain expertise, responsible for building and maintaining large-scale distributed risk calculation systems within an investment banking risk technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with software architecture design and implementation.
- Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Competence in debugging, testing, and maintaining high-quality codebases.

Additional Information:
