About the Role

  • Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and use cases
  • Manage outbound outreach campaigns and follow-up on inbound leads
  • Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings for senior sales or leadership
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity and lead conversion
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and customer engagement
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and contracting processes as needed
  • Represent Accrete at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and leads
  • Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on market feedback and performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years with SOCOM either as a military member, government civilian, or contractor
  • 3–6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
  • Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions (AI/ML experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or 4 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience working with federal customers or understanding of public sector procurement
  • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
  • Strategic thinking paired with tactical execution
  • Comfortable conducting discovery calls and articulating technical value propositions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a startup environment
  • Curious and passionate about emerging technology and AI-driven transformation
