Travel Agent - Summerville, SC

Job Type:

• Onsite position in Summerville, SC

• Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm 

• Generate new sales, retain existing members and grow ACG’s overall book of business through multiple product offerings. 

• Drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Group’s 14+ million members. 

• Establish and grow mutually beneficial relationships with AAA Members to maximize their member experience and use of AAA benefits, leading to profitable sales, revenue growth and repeat travel bookings. 

• Receive and champion customer concerns through to resolution. 

• Achieve assigned travel, membership, and credit card sales goals.

• Sell cruises, tours, hotel accommodations, air travel, car rental, travel insurance, AAA credit cards, AAA memberships and related travel products and services. 

• Prepare complex and/or large-scale domestic and international travel packages.

• Complete reservations and advise clients regarding documentation requirements. 

• Make necessary travel arrangements, including reservations, payment collection, and document processing. 

• Ask for referrals and build and grow a book of client business by utilizing the AAA ACG lead system. 

• Proactively learn and utilize AAA ACG digital and communication technologies to achieve objectives. 

Education 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

Work Experience 

• 1-year business to consumer sales 

• This is an in-office position.  Employees will service ACG members in-person and are based on site in an ACG branch facility.  

• Free leads, with priority placed on prospects who are most likely to travel. 

• In-office travel events and walk-in traffic help drive daily sales opportunities. 

• Direct-to-consumer marketing supports Travel Agents and helps generate interest. 

• Exclusive Preferred Partner discounted rates and member benefits help you close the sale. 

• AAA Members travel more than average consumers, giving you access to an engaged travel audience. 

• Inside support structure designed to reduce administrative work. 

• Support from Air Desk and Inside Sales Agents. 

• Interactive group system that provides a seamless booking process. 

• Free Travel Partner training certifications provided. 

• Travel benefits for completing online training programs, which may result in free or reduced travel. 

• Familiarization tours and cruises offered through developmental programs at no cost.
