Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Family/Internal Medicine • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Crescent City, CA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p - 4 weeks per month; Full-time • Patient Volume: 18 • Patient Demographics: Peds & adults • Support Staff: 1 RN & 2 MAs • Duties: Assesses & evaluates the health care needs of patients, performs diagnostic & therapeutic procedures, institutes & manages care, and performs related work as assigned. • EMR: Epic • Other Info: Chart closure within 72 hrs • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active CA License • BC/BE (FM/IM; If BE: within 5 yrs post residency) • BLS, CPR • DEA • At least 3 yrs of experience in a similar setting (panel mgmt) • Experience with Chronic Pain Management • Current Immunizations (Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray etc) • CVs need to have the month & amp; date on their work experience & education w/all gaps in employment accounted for.
