JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Gastroenterology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Greensboro, NC • Service Setting: Hospital (GI/Endoscopy Lab) • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: August 17, 2026 – 6 months (ongoing) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics • Patient Volume/Census: TBD • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Case Mix: GI/Endoscopy, ERCP, EUS procedures FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Level II–IV • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Endoscopy equipment • Specialty Backup Available: APP support • Support Staff Available: APPs, hospital staff • Reason for Coverage: Ongoing coverage until permanent hire PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • ERCP • EUS • General GI endoscopy procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active NC license or IMLC accepted • Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology • DEA: Required • Certifications: TBD • Experience: ERCP and EUS experience required • Other Qualifications: Epic experience preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide GI/Endoscopy coverage in hospital setting • Perform ERCP and EUS procedures • Manage inpatient GI cases and consults • Collaborate with APPs and hospital staff • Ensure accurate documentation and patient care
