Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services at an outpatient facility in Oroville/Chico Area, California. The psychiatrist will conduct on site psychiatric evaluations and provide direct psychiatric care and treatment for patients with complex and difficult disorders necessitating behavioral health clinical intervention. Responsibilities: • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans. • Provide ongoing medication management and psychotherapy as needed. • Perform crisis intervention, including prescribing and administering emergency medications. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services. • Evaluate patients for voluntary/involuntary commitment and complete required documentation. • Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. • Support continuity of care for patients engaged in day treatment and substance use programs. • Any other duties as assigned.
