POSITION OVERVIEW

The Superintendent serves as the spiritual, academic, and operational leader of the school, ensuring that all programs, personnel, and initiatives align with the school’s Christ-centered mission and vision. This role provides strategic leadership across curriculum, faculty development, policy implementation, school-wide planning, and community engagement while fostering a positive, spiritually nurturing, and academically excellent environment.

The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ with demonstrated educational leadership experience in a North American context, strong administrative skills, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for international Christian education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the school’s spiritual climate, modeling Christian character and inspiring staff, students, and families.
  • Oversee academic excellence, curriculum development, and continuous school improvement.
  • Supervise administrators and faculty, ensuring strong hiring, evaluation, and professional growth systems.
  • Execute Board policies and report regularly on school progress toward mission and strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and local legal requirements.
  • Guide budgeting, operational policies, and long-range planning.
  • Strengthen communications with all school constituents, including parents, staff, and mission partners.
  • Build and lead an effective Leadership Team and support positive community relationships.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE 

  • Master’s Degree required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in teaching and/or school administration
  • Experience in effective team leadership
  • Background check
  • Successful completion of overseas training requirements
  • Personal:
    • Mature and growing Christian.
    • Teachable, flexible, demonstrating sound judgment.
    • Willingness to work in and adapt to a multicultural workplace.
    • Philosophy of life and ministry that aligns with the organization's policies, objectives, and doctrinal position.
    • Engagement in personal ministry outside the classroom.
