Key Roles & Responsibilities Client Management Manage assigned clients end-to-end and ensure timely resolution of payroll and service-related issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, concerns, and operational matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and stakeholder management. Drive client satisfaction through accurate and timely service delivery. Own and manage client escalations through to successful resolution. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Partner with internal teams to resolve complex payroll and operational challenges. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll professionals. Drive team performance by monitoring productivity, quality, and service delivery metrics. Conduct regular performance discussions and provide developmental feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Operational Excellence Ensure adherence to all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and compliance requirements. Monitor operational performance and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence initiatives. Support business continuity and risk management activities. Payroll Compliance & Expertise Ensure payroll operations comply with Australia & New Zealand legislative requirements. Provide guidance and support to team members on payroll processes, legislation, and system-related matters. Maintain a high standard of payroll accuracy, compliance, and governance. Eligibility & Requirements Must be in a G2L2 role for a minimum of 18 months. Experience with Payforce & Strong knowledge of Australia & New Zealand Payroll Legislation is mandatory. Proven experience in client management and stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated ability to manage client escalations and drive issue resolution. Prior experience in team handling and performance management. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Problem-solving and decision-making capability. Process improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced client-centric environment.
