Position Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Advanced Engineering Systems Inc., you will be responsible for the design of all electrical aspects of facility/building systems (power, lighting, telecommunications, etc.) for projects such as schools, colleges, medical and healthcare facilities, institutional facilities, office buildings, commercial and retail spaces, food service and hospitality industry, etc.

 

The successful candidate will

  • Manage technical challenges.
  • Be responsible for the supervision of designers/technicians in the Omaha office to complete projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner. Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
  • Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
  • Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
  • Help with Business Development activities and aid in growing the local office.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design of Building Power, Lighting & Telecommunications systems.
