What We Offer
~1 min read• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Follows all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements.
• Positions patients and operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed.
• Collaborates with radiologists and breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps.
• Ensures patient identification, safety, and comfort, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

• 1+ years' experience in Mammography [Required]
•1+ years' experience performing stereotactic core biopsies [Required]
•1+ years' experience performing breast needle localizations [Required]
•1+ years' experience performing seed implants [Preferred]
• 1+ years' experience [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
