🌟 WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Team Lead, you will serve as a key leadership presence within the community and help ensure that the building operates safely, professionally, efficiently, and compassionately.

You will:

• Provide leadership and direction to CNAs, HHAs, medication technicians, and other assigned staff.
• Monitor resident care and ensure services are provided according to care plans and assigned needs.
• Identify and report changes in resident condition.
• Follow up on falls, hospitalizations, medication concerns, injuries, and other significant events.
• Monitor residents requiring frequent or scheduled care.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and organized care environment.
• Provide care & Pass medication daily

You will:

• Lead daily shift huddles.
• Assign staff responsibilities.
• Monitor employee performance.
• Coach employees and address performance concerns.
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
• Support staffing and coverage needs.
• Recognize employees who demonstrate exceptional performance.
• Promote teamwork and a positive workplace culture.
• Lead by example.

You will assist with:

• Medication cart and documentation monitoring.
• Medication-related communication.
• Identifying medication discrepancies or concerns.
• QuickMAR and electronic documentation.
• Care grids and medication grids.
• Incident documentation.
• Shift-to-shift communication.

Leadership at AdvisaCARE includes understanding the connection between resident services, accurate documentation, billing, staffing, and quality care.

You will be responsible for helping ensure:

• Billable services are entered daily.
• À la carte services are documented and entered accurately.
• Billing information is reviewed for errors.
• Missing or incorrect services are addressed promptly.
• Monthly billing is prepared accurately for the 1st-of-the-month deadline.
• Aging receivables are communicated appropriately to management.
• Families receive professional communication regarding outstanding balances when authorized.

📋 QUALIFICATIONS

• Current nursing license appropriate to the position and applicable law.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
• Healthcare, senior living, home care, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to use electronic documentation systems.
• Demonstrated professionalism and leadership ability.
