Job Title: Senior Technical Integration Lead

Location: Remote, CA | San Diego, CA

Clearance Level: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility, Must Have Clearance to Start

Responsibilities

→Serve as a technical integration lead across operational stakeholders, software development teams, systems integrators, and CDAO partners.
→Translate operational workflows, user needs, and discovery findings into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, interface requirements, and development priorities.
→Support technical integration across JFN mission areas, including PT-COP, track fusion, target-effector pairing, and edge architecture.
→Identify and resolve integration dependencies across APIs, data, interfaces, infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity and access, deployment environments, and adjacent systems.
→Support definition and refinement of technical boundaries and interfaces among JFN, MSS, and related capabilities.
→Participate in backlog refinement, architecture and technical reviews, demonstrations, testing, and implementation planning.
→Evaluate technical decisions and architecture for impacts to interoperability, cybersecurity, operational implementation, and future scaling.
→Apply modular, API-first, and open architecture principles to support interoperable and adaptable software solutions.
→Incorporate cybersecurity and authorization considerations into development and implementation planning.
→Work across technical and organizational boundaries to investigate issues, engage the appropriate stakeholders, and develop actionable paths toward resolution.
→Capture technical decisions, implementation lessons, and reusable patterns to support JFN, Cadre, and broader CDAO objectives.
→Share relevant technical, acquisition, and delivery insights with company leadership to strengthen organizational capabilities, delivery practices, and strategic planning.

→10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, systems engineering, systems integration, technical delivery, or a related field. Higher education, specialized training, relevant military service, and professional experience may be considered in combination.

→Demonstrated experience supporting complex software or systems integration efforts across multiple technical disciplines, organizations, or mission systems.

→Demonstrated experience integrating complex software or systems across multiple technical disciplines, platforms, organizations, or mission environments.

→Demonstrated experience translating operational or user needs into actionable technical requirements and development priorities.

→Working knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, data integration, system interfaces, and interoperability.

→Experience working with software development teams in Agile or iterative delivery environments.

→Demonstrated ability to identify and work through technical dependencies that cross traditional engineering or organizational boundaries.

→Demonstrated ability to create clarity and drive technical problem-solving in ambiguous environments where requirements, ownership, interfaces, or processes are still evolving.

→Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, product, and program stakeholders.

→Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

→Experience supporting DoD, Joint, Combatant Command, Navy/NIWC, or CDAO mission environments.
→Experience with command and control, battle management, Joint fires, targeting, track or sensor fusion, or related mission architectures.
→Experience with machine learning or AI-enabled capabilities and their integration into operational workflows.
→Experience with tactical, distributed, or edge-computing architectures.
→Familiarity with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), API-first architecture, and open architecture principles.
→Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software delivery practices.
→Familiarity with cybersecurity, RMF, system authorization, and identity and access considerations.
→Experience with defense software acquisition, rapid capability delivery, or other iterative acquisition approaches.
→Experience with MSS or comparable Government software, data, or development environments.
→Familiarity with product management practices and the relationship between operational discovery, product priorities, software development, and user feedback.

Work is primarily performed in professional office, Government, and technical development environments. This position requires regular on-site collaboration in the San Diego area, including work with Government and development stakeholders at or in support of NIWC-Pacific. Periodic travel may be required to support operational stakeholders and other mission activities. Work may occur in secure facilities with restrictions on personal electronic devices and remote connectivity.

Sedentary to light physical demands associated with professional office and technical work environments. Occasional movement or transport of laptops, documents, and other standard work materials may be required.
