Are you passionate about food safety and quality? We’re looking for someone to own the quality and warehousing of raw materials within our Flavors Europe Business Unit, Illkirch, based at the warehouse in Fuchs.

Responsibilities

- →Inspect incoming raw materials at the Fuchs site (batch number, item number, description, expiry date, quality) and verify the compliance of associated documentation (DN, COA) and book in materials and input results into our ERP system
- →Catalogue and confirm raw materials availability, using our ERP system. Release batches under Q status following receipt, review, and validation of analytical results
- →Prepare and dispatch raw material and finished product samples for R&D teams in Milton Keynes and Illkirch, as well as for specific commercial needs. Perform aseptic sampling of raw materials requiring in-depth quality control and analytical testing
- →Deliver on-site quality support at the Fuchs warehouse. Review, verify, and correct inventory records to ensure data accuracy and assist in sampling for technical team for shelf-life review, as and when required
- →Work closely with warehouse operations teams to minimize disruptions during counting activities. Perform scheduled cycle counting activities in the warehouse according to plans and verify physical inventory against system records to ensure inventory accuracy
- →Coordinate and manage the shipment of samples to external laboratories for analysis. Provide quality control support for product returns at the Fuchs site
- →Check raw material or finish products for the customer complaint investigations and out-of-spec investigations
- →A qualification in Quality Management or degree in Chemistry/Science would be an advantage
- →Business fluency in French and English
- →Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of inventory or quality discrepancies working to GMP standards
- →Knowledge and experience of raw material handling, sampling processes, and quality control procedures
- →Numerical/data entry and report writing experience working with ERP systems
- →Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
