Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Product, Risk, and external partners, you will turn complex data into actionable recommendations that support profitability, risk management, and operational efficiency.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your actuarial capability, influence strategic outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement while helping AIA deliver on its purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

  • Lead actuarial projects and business-as-usual activities to achieve quality outcomes aligned with organisational priorities
  • Enhance actuarial models, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and risk management practices
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, Product, Risk, and external stakeholders to drive successful collaboration and outcomes
  • Identify and manage emerging risks, validate controls, and support compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
  • Translate complex technical information into practical recommendations that create value for the business

  • You have actuarial experience and enjoy applying analytical thinking to solve complex business challenges
  • You bring strong quantitative, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify insights and opportunities from large datasets
  • You have a tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline and are progressing towards, or have completed, an actuarial qualification
  • You bring excellent communication skills and can confidently explain technical concepts to a range of audiences
  • You have strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • You may also have experience within life insurance or the wider financial services industry, along with knowledge of actuarial modelling tools and regulatory reporting environments

At AIA, we believe your expertise deserves more than a job, it deserves a purpose. In return for your contribution, you’ll enjoy a career where your analytical skills shape decisions that impact millions of lives. We offer flexible ways of working, competitive rewards, and continuous professional development to help you grow as the industry evolves. You’ll be part of a collaborative actuarial community that values innovation, supports your wellbeing, and gives you the tools to make a meaningful difference. Because when you help us safeguard AIA’s financial strength, you’re also helping create Healthier, Longer, Better Lives for our customers and communities.
