Air Products is seeking an Operator-Technician (Instrumentation & Control) to join our Liquid CO₂ production facility in Navoi. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including CO₂ liquefaction, storage, loading operations, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in ensuring production reliability, safety adherence, and operational excellence.
- Manage and monitor the Liquid CO₂ production plant both on site and through the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Conduct routine plant inspections and report operational data and findings.
- Conduct troubleshooting, upkeep, and calibration of instrumentation and control equipment.
- Maintain and support transmitters, analyzers, control valves, DCS, PLC, and related control systems.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance activities and support safe work permit processes.
- Respond to equipment failures and plant upsets in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Support loading operations and provide mentorship to drivers during tanker loading activities.
- Participate in daily production and maintenance meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, environmental, GMP/GDP, and operational field requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting documentation.
- Technical degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Instrumentation & Controls maintenance experience in petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- Experience working with DCS and PLC control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- English proficiency at Pre-Intermediate level or higher.
- Experience with ammonia-related processes would be an advantage.
