Reporting to the Built Environment Integration & Delivery Lead, the Contract & Sourcing Team Leader will provide strategic leadership across facilities management, fleet operations, procurement and contract governance activities within Facilities & Property.
You will lead a team of contract managers responsible for managing nationally significant supplier relationships and service delivery contracts. The portfolio includes facilities services, preventative and reactive maintenance programs, fleet operations, minor works projects and specialist service providers supporting Airservices facilities across Australia.
This role is accountable for developing and executing sourcing strategies, driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service outcomes.
Working closely with senior leaders, operational stakeholders and external suppliers, you will influence strategic decisions and help shape the future delivery model of Facilities & Property services across Airservices.
You are a strategic procurement and contract management professional with experience leading complex supplier environments and building high-performing teams. You bring strong commercial judgement, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Extensive experience in facilities management, procurement, sourcing or contract management environments.
- Proven success managing complex supplier and contractor relationships across large, multi-site operations.
- Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks and driving contract compliance.
- Strong understanding of facilities management, maintenance and asset-related service delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training in Procurement, Contract Management or a related discipline.
