You will be joining the dedicated DevOps sub-team for pdfFiller, our flagship product and a global leader in the PDF management space. pdfFiller handles massive traffic and complex document workflows, meaning your work will directly impact millions of users. Additionally, you will be covering internal product - Supervisor.
Our sub-team consists of 3+ specialists led by a Tech Lead. They are a high-autonomy group focused on the reliability and evolution of the pdfFiller product. We foster a culture of high ownership and proactive collaboration, working closely on a first-line support with software engineering teams to maintain a seamless production environment for our biggest product.
Automate and evolve the cloud infrastructure using Terraform (competent level) and AI-assisted workflows to ensure maximum uptime.
Use Prometheus and Grafana to perform initial diagnosis of infrastructure issues across our high-traffic services, working independently or together with the duty DevOps of the responsible team.
Manage the resolution of technical challenges that exceed the scope of our Level 1 support team.
Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure changes, monitoring rules, and troubleshooting procedures specific to the pdfFiller environment.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty week (rotation every 3–5 weeks depending on team size).
Engage with different departments and products (architecture review, suggesting improvements).
Assist with / automate service launches to improve delivery time
Look for cost-reduction opportunities
3+ years of professional experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), and CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure as Code - Expert-level familiarity with Terraform-based workflows.
Proven experience in production support, incident handling, and participating in on-call rotations for high-scale products.
High level of self-awareness, proactivity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and support engineers.
B1 or higher English proficiency for active participation in meetings and global collaboration.
A strong desire to learn and implement modern tooling, including AI-assisted engineering and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
