Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
- Diagnose plumbing faults and perform necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect plumbing systems and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Test installed systems for safety and functionality.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice.
- Inspect infrastructure and remedy any requirements for repair
- Supervise others involved in maintenance tasks.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety Regulations.
- Use and fill out preventative maintenance checklist correctly and carry out all repairs and checks thoroughly to the checklists.
- File all paperwork in equipment folders and ensure they are clean and legible
- Assisting in the selection and procurement of parts and the management of stock from stores and inventories.
- Ensure a tidy and clean worksite, ensuring all waste oil or contaminated waste is captured in drip trays and disposed of in the correct waste receptacle.
- Follow and learn Alistair Group Work Instructions and Maintenance Processes.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Developing relationships with local suppliers
- Taking best practice from other Alistair locations and implementing in Mozambique
