Job Summary:

You will responsible to carry out day-to-day operations such as receiving, storage, preservation, handling, issuance, charging of supplies to the departments/ patient care areas as per organizational, safety and quality standards.

Job Role / Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for day-to-day administrative work of the department, such as attendance, duty scheduling, staff affairs and record for monthly production reports etc.
2. Help to maintain the departmental discipline and implementation of the department policies as advised by the Manager, L.L.S.D., to ensure smooth operation of the department.
3. Evaluates departmental worker performance and identify the area for on job  training & schedule accordingly.
4. Supervise and maintain the quality of laundry washing hygienically by checking the result, procedure, PH level, chemical dosing etc.
5. Monitor the available resources to ensure there is a sense of cost consciousness and operate laundry & Linen sections at maximum production with minimum cost.
6. Any other related task assigned by Supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

• 14 Years of Education / B.Sc. / B. Com / B.A or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and Strong computer literacy.
• 2 to 3 year’s supervisory experience of handling large teams.
• 6-8 years of related field experience, including laundry operations and handling uniform & linen distribution techniques.
• Able to supervise workers and maintain good working morale.
• Adequate knowledge about hospital laundry and infection control system.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals such as washing detergent, Bleach, and spotting chemicals etc.
• Willing to perform shift duties.
