Coordinator - SBP Pharmacy (Hyderabad)

The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

• →Supervision of store / warehouse staff for their professional conducts, discipline, scheduling, performance appraisal and job assignments.
• →Management of business and professional activities of the Outreach Pharmacies Store / Warehouse as mentioned in section.
• →Receive, Inspect, Store and distribution medication supplies as per standards, safety, security appropriate storage condition and quality ( defect free ) to all outreach Pharmacies.
• →Supervise expiry date record of all drugs and pharmaceuticals received in store and outreach Pharmacies with timely return the deteriorated and expired drugs to the vendors in exchange for fresh supplies.
• →Ensure the drug ordering from vendors is on time and as per set procedure to meet on going and special drugs need.
• →Ensure the GRIN (and RTV) is timely and correctly processed to meet the institutional payment related KPI and inventory management to avoid backorders etc.
• →Drug Par levels are periodically reviewed and prepared required Purchase order.
• →Coordinate with MMD/WH for purchase and distribution related matters and maintains good professional rapport with all concerned.
• →Assist Pharmacy Manger in smooth Drug supplies, timely intimation about supply and issues and possible solutions to overcome problems.
• →Maintain of practice standards, compliance with all accreditation standards ( JCIA Standards) and applicable laws and regulations.
• →Performs related work when assign and directed.
• →Provide the related indicators of his area on a regular basis.

You should have:

• a Bachelor’s degree
• 5-6 years of experience in material management, warehouse, drug wholesale and inventory controls in a tertiary level healthcare facility including 2-3 years of supervisory experience
• professional certification in a relevant field will be added advantage
