JOB PURPOSE
Please note, this role is for a UAE national only
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
• Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice.
• Translate Arabic/English legal documents.
• Draft Court letters.
• Ensure POA’s are notarized and in line with legal compliance requests
• Assist senior team members with other workstreams as required such as contract reviews.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant legal updates.
• Prepare targeted legal advice for relevant business end users.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:
Min of 2+ years of related experience in legal services / corporate governance
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:
• Preferably with experience as a Company Secretary in a publicly listed company or equivalent experience in legal corporate governance.
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
• In depth knowledge of UAE legal systems
• Good documentation skills
• Time management
• Negotiating skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
QUALIFICATION
• Law Degree
• Professional Company Secretarial qualification such as Associate Company Secretary (ACS)
