The company offers a comprehensive range of financing and related services for car customers of Renault Group. Backed by an international network, the company has established itself in Malta to deliver and service a portfolio of protection insurance products in a number of European Countries.
In order to strengthen its existing team, the Company is seeking a Claims and Operation Leader - French Speaking who will report functionally to the Chief Operation Officer
· Claims Oversight
- Oversee end-to-end claims management processes.
- Ensure timely and compliant resolution of claims in line with regulatory and internal standards.
· Decision-Making
- Evaluate and adjudicate claims based on policy terms and supporting documentation.
- Perform first-level controls to validate claim accuracy and compliance.
· Process Management
- Maintain and update claims workflows, procedures, and documentation.
- Identify anomalies and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor implementation and effectiveness of action plans.
· Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Legal Officers for technical policy reviews.
- Work closely with the Complaints Officer to address escalated issues.
- Lead monthly meetings with TPAs to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
· Training & Development
- Support and train Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
- Ensure training materials are current and aligned with operational needs.
· Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to IT user acceptance testing (UAT) and process optimization initiatives.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and strong reporting capabilities.
- Solid analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills: able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
- Previous experience in insurance and claims management is required.
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
- Additional European languages are considered an asset.
