ACG_3522_JOB Our client is a leading financial services company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Overview Protect the organization’s financial integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory standards by delivering professional analysis and certification across pricing, reserving, solvency, and risk transfer, while operating independently from commercial teams. Product & Pricing: Develop premium calculations, validate key assumptions, and assess overall financial viability of products. Reserving: Determine and maintain technical reserves in accordance with regulatory requirements. Solvency Monitoring: Perform periodic solvency reviews and certify reports submitted to regulatory authorities. Financial Risk Oversight: Identify and escalate any irregular financial risks to management and regulators when required. Reinsurance Review: Assess reinsurance arrangements and validate the effectiveness of risk transfer.Risk Management Support: Work closely with stakeholders on risk modeling, stress testing, and reporting activities. Specific Duties: Review claims, distinguish sources of capital, and prepare financial projections. Regulatory Reporting: Compile and submit annual actuarial reports to the Ministry of Finance following prescribed formats. Requirements Certificate / Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline. Mandatory qualification: ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries). Experience Up to 5 years of actuarial experience within life or non-life insurance companies, with exposure to areas such as pricing, reserving, solvency, or reinsurance. Experience in regulatory reporting to the Ministry of Finance or equivalent bodies is an advantage. Strong customer orientation with a proactive sense of urgency. Personal attributes: proactive, diligent, detail-focused, and results-driven. Skills / Knowledge In-depth understanding of life insurance products, valuation techniques, and regulatory frameworks. Strong knowledge of technical reserves, solvency assessment, and risk-based capital requirements. Familiarity with reinsurance structures and evaluation of significant risk transfer. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for reporting and cross-functional communication. Good knowledge of Vietnamese insurance regulations and Ministry of Finance reporting standards.
