ACG_3538_JOB Our client is a leading food manufacturing company in Vietnam, seeking experienced professionals to join their firm. The QA Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the overall Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) functions across the poultry and chilled chicken operations. This role will ensure all production activities, food safety systems, quality standards, and HSE practices are implemented effectively and aligned with local regulations, international standards, and future export requirements. Quality Assurance & Quality Control Management Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems, policies, procedures, and standards across the manufacturing and food processing operations. Oversee product quality throughout the full production lifecycle, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, internal standards, and customer requirements. Lead quality inspection, testing, auditing, and monitoring activities to ensure consistency in product quality and operational performance. Establish corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance cases. Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve product quality, yield, and operational efficiency. Prepare the organization for future export standards and certifications, including HACCP, ISO, GMP, BRC, or other international food safety requirements. Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, production trends, and operational risks to drive continuous improvement initiatives. HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Management Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards. Lead workplace safety initiatives, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation across all operational sites. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees are trained on occupational health, safety, hygiene, and environmental practices. Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment. Coordinate with relevant authorities and external stakeholders regarding HSE compliance and regulatory requirements. Operational Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure strong operational capability and workforce effectiveness. Build and strengthen organizational capabilities, work processes, and quality culture across the business unit. Manage departmental budgets, resources, and improvement projects to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization. Work closely with senior management to support strategic initiatives, operational expansion, and long-term business objectives. Provide regular reports, analysis, and recommendations related to quality performance, food safety, and HSE matters to leadership teams. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related disciplines. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC, Food Safety, or HSE within food manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, poultry, or protein processing industries. At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing large-scale manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of food safety systems and international standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, BRC, or equivalent certifications. Good understanding of HSE regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance within manufacturing environments. Experience in poultry, chilled meat, food processing, or export-oriented manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage cross-functional coordination effectively. Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
