Underwriting and Reinsurance Operations Management Support the Head of Department in managing and supervising underwriting (UW) and reinsurance (RI) operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as the Company’s strategies, policies, and procedures. Provide technical guidance and professional advice on underwriting and reinsurance matters to the Marketing Department, enabling the preparation of appropriate proposals and offerings for customers. Conduct underwriting audits in accordance with established requirements and procedures. Oversee portfolio analysis and evaluate underwriting results and overall performance. Consolidate findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective measures to senior management when required. Manage and maintain the Underwriting Guidelines and all operational manuals and instructions related to the underwriting of insurance products. 2. Product Development and Management, Reporting, and Analysis Participate in the development, review, and enhancement of new insurance products, premium tariffs, policy wordings, terms, and conditions for new markets, customers, business projects, and other relevant opportunities. Coordinate with the Actuarial Department and other relevant functions in developing pricing methodologies and assessing product performance. Assist with product registration and amendment procedures with regulatory authorities as assigned. Support the Head of Department in managing, monitoring, and consolidating underwriting and reinsurance data, as well as preparing UWRI reports in accordance with business and job requirements. 3. Governance and Compliance Manage and maintain standard policy wordings, clauses, templates, and forms applicable to insurance products. Collaborate with the Compliance, Risk Management, and other relevant departments to ensure that underwriting and reinsurance activities comply with applicable laws, internal policies, regulations, and management directives. 4. People Management and Development Assist the Head of Department in organizing the team, allocating responsibilities, monitoring work progress, and evaluating the performance of team members. Provide professional training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance employees’ technical knowledge and capabilities. 5. Project Participation Participate in projects related to underwriting and reinsurance activities. 6. Other Responsibilities Perform other duties arising from the role’s requirements or as assigned by the direct supervisor. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline. A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the non-life insurance sector, including at least two years in a team leadership or management position. Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products, practices, and market dynamics. Excellent risk identification, analysis, and assessment capabilities. Strong project management skills. Effective interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Fluency in English.
